Vendasta seeks an eager wordsmith and storyteller to join our content team. The ideal candidate is an outstanding writer, who is a quick learner with a deep interest in digital marketing, a keen eye for detail, and an ability to keep up with the changing landscape in content marketing
Responsibilities
Write high-quality content for the website, blogs, long-form, social, email, and other collateral as required
Develop pieces as determined by the Director of Content Marketing, as well as contribute new ideas
Create long-form content like reports, case studies, and white papers
Read and absorb industry-leading content outside of Vendastas production
Produce lead-generation content that reflects Vendastas goals and helps our partners and prospects solve their business challenges
Construct email campaigns based on specific objectives and audiences
Create and publish paid and organic social media content on a range of topics
Keep a consistent social media posting calendar to engage audience on social platforms
Depending on skills & interests, help out with podcast production, video and audio production, ad campaign creation, web design, and other marketing projects
Skills & Qualifications
Strong writing and communication skills are essential
Experience in information technology and software-as-a-services is preferred
Exceptional organizational skills and keen attention to detail
Interest in digital marketing, content marketing, blogging and other content creation
Proficient knowledge of social media and best practices
Ability to work independently as well as collaborate within a team
Intermediate to advanced knowledge of SEO best practices
Assets: experience with graphic design software (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign or others), video and/or audio production and editing software (Premiere Pro, Final Cut, After Effects, Audition or other), and Wordpress knowledge
