Description

Reporting to the Board of Directors, the Executive Director (ED) provides leadership and direction toward the achievement of the Assiniboia and District Chamber of Commerce?s strategic plan. Acting as a liaison among members, the Board of Directors, staff, government and partners, the ED is responsible for overseeing the delivery of all programs and services, membership growth and retention, financial management, daily operations, marketing, communications and public relations.
Qualifications:
-    Experience in community development and leadership
-    Motivation, enthusiasm and a genuine interest in community and business
-    Excellent communication skills, including oral, written, and virtual in the English language
-    Program development skills, social and virtual marketing skills, experience with planning and coordinating special events, presentation skills including virtual, and fundraising
-    Volunteer management experience and governance knowledge
-    Experience with social media, zoom, and virtual meetings an asset
-    Experience with grant applications
-    Day to day office management
-    Accounting/bookkeeping skills experience with SAGE (Simply Accounting) an asset
