Over the last year, we have recognized the important role that our Health & Safety, Business Continuity and Emergency Response professionals have played more than ever.   At SGI, our Safety Consultants play a critical role in the development and delivery of the Health, Safety and Emergency Management Programs for SGI and its regional operations.

In this role, you will provide consultation and guidance on the interpretation and application of all corporate safety programs, policies, procedures, and legislation.  You will also support workplace audits, incident investigations and foster a culture of safety excellence.  

SGI has a leadership culture that promotes collaboration and having open honest conversations. As a Safety Consultant - that means providing guidance on best practice while listening to the needs of our business to make solid recommendations.  

Requirements

Candidates must bring the education and experience to succeed in this unique opportunity  after all, we're counting on you.  We are looking for candidates who have a four-year Degree, Certificate or Diploma in Health & Safety. Candidates should have at least 5 years' experience Alternative combinations of relevant education and experience may also be considered.
