Description

As the successful candidate, your Leadership and Project Management expertise will be supported by a progressive career in Highway maintenance/repair.

As a key member of the Senior Management team, you will provide leadership and strong project management throughout all phases of highways maintenance/repair projects including planning, estimating, contract award/administration, resource/equipment planning and scheduling, construction inspection, issue resolution and project financials.   In this position you will:

- Collaborate and work closely with the senior management team on highway projects including strategic planning, scheduling, cost estimating, proposal preparation and submission.  

- Build strong working relationships with Highways representatives and stakeholders to ensure deliverables fall within the applicable scope and budget.  Maintain and demonstrate strong technical and professional knowledge on highways maintenance and repair, i.e.  chip seal, joint and crack sealing, surface repair, seal coating, equipment and asphalt/patching materials, traffic accommodation plans, etc.  
- Provide contract management and administration of highway projects.  
- Create and monitor project schedules, materials and equipment resources and costs.  Hire and coach qualified work crews, ensuring company procedures and safety policies are adhered to.
- Monitor and inspect equipment and materials to ensure client specifications are met.

CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Related highways/paving/pavement repair training is essential.
