Description

Brief Overview:
Under the direction of the MN-S Director of Housing, the Housing Manager will provide leadership and support to the housing team in the development, implementation and management of housing programs to support Metis citizens across the province, including providing supervision and direction to assigned staff.  
Key Responsibilities:    
Lead Metis Citizen Direct Housing Support Program Operations team
Complete performance planning and performance reviews for Housing Specialists
In collaboration with staff, create development plans based on past performance measurements.
Build and retain a network of organizations across Saskatchewan who provide services supporting movement through the housing continuum which include but are not limited to range of community resources including homeownership, inspections, budgeting, education, health and safety, insurance
As a housing team member, contribute to the creation and continued improvement of data collection processes.
Develop policy and procedures for housing programs and operational practices.
Other duties as assigned by the Director of Housing.
Qualifications
Bachelor of Business Administration or related degree
Minimum five years related experience in management
Minimum five years working within the housing sector
Knowledge and skills:
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, Leadership
Relationship management practices
Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Powerpoint)
Valid Drivers license and access to a personal vehicle is required
Ability to travel
Additional requirements:
Must undergo a Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector Check
