Description

Kelly Panteluk Construction Ltd. (KPCL) is hiring experienced truck transport mechanics for the 2021 Construction Season - work can be at either at permanent maintenance facilities (Clavet or Estevan) and projects throughout the province. Projects confirmed near Kindersley, Lake Alma/Minton, Lanigan and Saskatoon.

Applicants may be required to have valid driver license (A endorsement an asset), clean driver abstract and must be able to pass pre-employment fitness for duty testing. Preference may be given to applicants that have attained their journeyperson accreditation and with previous experience servicing, diagnosing and repairing Caterpillar equipment, a variety of heavy highway trucks and side-dump trailers, and light vehicles.

Key duties include:

- Actively participating, promoting and engaging others in a culture of safety
- Efficiently troubleshooting, diagnosing and performing cost-effective repairs on highway trucks, trailers, light vehicles and, as required, heavy equipment
- Inspecting and performing regular maintenance or as needed repairs
- Ability to read electrical and hydraulic schematics proficiently
- Documenting tasks completed as part of repairs and preventative maintenance program
- Adapting to meet changing priorities, and helping resolve issues and concerns arising in the field on a timely basis;
- Communicating information clearly and effectively and working as part of a team
- Listening and carrying out instructions diligently
- Mentoring and supporting employees pursuing trades person designations
- Willingness to travel between jobsites and work overtime when required
- Any other duties as may be assigned

Other:
- Accommodations and meal services are provided at a temporary work camp for some sites
- Enrollment in cost-share hourbank benefit program after two-months of consecutive employment
