Description

Kelly Panteluk Construction Ltd. (KPCL) is hiring experienced HSE Advisors for the 2021 Construction Season - project confirmed near Kindersley, Lake Alma/Minton, Lanigan and Saskatoon. Positions are fulltime seasonal.

Applicants must have CSO or NSCO designation, have valid driver license, clean driver abstract and be able to pass pre-employment fitness for duty testing.

Applicants must be component using Microsoft Office products. Preference may be given to applicants with previous experience and industry certificates for planning and completing safety work plans for civil construction projects, including work zone and traffic accommodation for highway projects. It is an asset if auditor training is current.

Key duties include:

- Actively participating, promoting and engaging others in a culture of safety
- Implementing and monitoring adherence to the HSE program, updating program as necessary
- Inspecting earthworks and support operations to ensure compliance with HSE program
- Ensuring sites and equipment satisfy OHS standards
- Undertaking risk assessments, including the development of safe work plans
- Conducting orientations/ training for employees
- Collaborating with site management to host safety meetings
- Investigating, tracking and reporting all near misses, incidents, injuries and unsafe acts or conditions
- Communicating information clearly and effectively to all co-workers, foreman and Superintendents
- Listening and carrying out instructions diligently
- Working cooperatively with client and client representatives
- Willingness to travel between jobsites and work overtime when required
- Any other duties as may be assigned

Other:
