North Ridge Development Corporation, Saskatchewans leading home builder, is seeking a full-time Construction Technologist to join our Regina team.  Must be a resident of Saskatchewan and be legally able to work in Canada.

The Construction Technologist will support our Drafting & Estimating department with the organization, distribution, and maintenance of project documents in relation to residential construction projects.  This is a fast-paced role, that will offer variety to the successful candidate.  Ideal candidates will have a solid understanding of residential construction, and will be driven, self-starters, and highly organized.  The following is a description of the primary responsibilities and required qualifications.

Responsibilities:
Assist to mitigate all potential risk from project tender, through start of construction to completion.
Coordination (organization, distribution, and maintenance) of project documents including tender, bids, scopes of work, drawings and change orders.
Obtain quotes and compile limited estimates for change orders.
Daily communication with members of sales, construction and drafting departments.
Daily communication with subtrades and suppliers.
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years experience in the residential construction industry.
Thorough understanding of residential design and construction.
Experience and understanding of floor plans, construction details and specifications.
Working knowledge of current building codes and local municipal bylaws & regulations.
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office.
Strong computer and technology skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organization and multi-tasking skills.
Detail-oriented focus.
Must be a resident of Saskatchewan and be legally able to work in Canada.
