SecurTek is looking to fill the role of Technical Support Agent in our head office located in Yorkton.  This role is responsible for responding to and supporting all customer groups with the installation and use of security alarm systems and associated equipment.

Typical Duties:
- Respond to all incoming correspondence or calls relating to installation or support of alarm equipment from dealers and customers.
- Assist those customers by troubleshooting problems and escalating to the next level when required.
- Record all actions taken in general inquiries, routine system tests and emergency situations by inputting them into the appropriate database.
- Confirm instructions and procedures with customers, municipal agencies, designated responsible parties, dealers, contractors and others as necessary.

The ideal candidate will have a Grade 12 diploma or equivalency and four related post-secondary classes in computer science, computer networking or a technology-based field of study. Previous experience within the security industry in a technical role and working knowledge and experience with personal computers from a hardware, software and networking perspective would be considered an asset.
