Description

Financial and Consumer Affairs Authority of Saskatchewan (FCAA) is seeking a highly motivated, well-organized person with superior problem-solving skills to support the oversight of pension plans registered in Saskatchewan.

At FCAA we support Saskatchewans economic well-being by regulating the financial marketplace to protect consumers and the public interest. In the Pensions Division, we protect pension plan members by overseeing the administration of occupational pension plans in Saskatchewan.

As a Pensions Officer, you will review information such as annual information returns and amendments to pension plan contracts, which are submitted by pension plan administrators. You will reconcile financial information provided with respect to pension plan funds. You will communicate with pension plan stakeholders to resolve issues and provide information. You will be adept at analyzing detailed technical information to determine if it complies with legislation. Experience in reviewing legislation and contracts would be an asset.

In addition to program support, you will manage the budget and forecast for the Pensions and Legal Division, and provide them with administrative and support services.

Our ideal candidate will have a diploma in business administration as well as several years of administrative experience. A combination of other relevant education and work experience will also be considered.

We wish to express our appreciation to all applicants for their interest and effort in applying for this position.  However, only candidates selected for an interview will be contacted.
