The Ever Green Early Learning Centre is currently accepting applications for an Early Childhood Educator to start January 18th, 2021. Our hours of operation are 6:30 am to 6:30 pm Monday to Friday, Closed all Statutory Holidays.
We welcome any candidate that is a great team player, with positive communication skills and loves working with children. They must be able to work alone or on a team, promoting positive development of children. Must be able to prepare and offer child appropriate activities, and crafts throughout the day.
Preference will be given to candidates who hold an Early Childhood Education I, II or III or who are willing to take the 3 classes required to gain your ECE 1 Certification. These class fees may be covered by our Centre for the right candidate.
To apply you MUST:
*be 18 years of age or older
*hold a CPR 'C' and Standard First Aid (or able to take course)
*be able to obtain a Criminal Record Check.

Early Childhood Educator Assistant Skills
- Prepare craft materials and assist children to use them
- Prepare and serve snacks
- Guide children in development of proper eating, dressing and toilet habits
- Discuss progress and problems of children at staff meetings
- Conduct and monitor activity programs designed for young children
- Bathe, diaper and feed infants and toddlers
- Arrange transition periods such as lunch and rest for children
