Description

Wow Factor Media is a marketing agency seeking that perfect blend of technical and creative. We are looking for an experienced Website Developer with in-depth front-end UI/UX experience on websites and back-end development website experience to assist our Web department in the maintenance, design, coding, creation and execution of WordPress, Shopify and Magento websites.
Duties include:
Communicate via email and phone daily with clients
Thought leadership and communication with head office
Conduct industry research for clients based on competition and design best practices
Review and provide feedback on web designs provided by web design team
Ensure design are responsive, use SEO best practices, combine content strategy and UX design, apply solutions for content organization, navigation, hierarchy, interactive design, and user processes, to create effective digital experiences
Collaborate with Designers and Developers to create web experiences and support creative team
Manage time effectively for multiple projects and deadlines
Apply new developments in design, technology and new media trends and able to evaluate the adoption of these in your work.
Assist Director in web tasks where needed
Liaison between client and web team
Responsible for providing proofs to client and relaying client feedback to web team
Manage and ensure quality assurance on all websites using web best practices, SEO, industry, grammar and spelling, and project scope
Articulate abstract and/or conceptual decisions and proofs in a clear and simple manner to clients as necessary
Training clients on updating content and key website functionalities within their website
Consult with clients to develop and document web site requirements
Work with developers to create web site architecture and web requirements
Source, select and organize information for inclusion in the appearance, layout and flow of the web site
