Description

Chip and Dale Homes Inc. is a Non-Profit Organization providing residential and day program services for adults with intellectual disabilities.

A temporary full time (maternity leave)LPN position is available caring for 4 adults ranging in age from 31-63 with complex medical needs in a slow paced, home setting. Rotation includes some days, evenings, nights and weekend work.

Duties Include but are not limited to;

Offer direct nursing care and a holistic approach for medically fragile adults
Assist in physical assessments
Administer medications, gastric tube feeds
Monitor and administer tracheotomy care including suctioning
Colostomy and urostomy care
Catheter care
Diabetes management
Monitor and manage nursing care plans
Advocate on behalf of the individual's health care needs

Qualifications:
LPN
Current license with SALPN
Minimum 2 years experience preferred but not necessary
