Description

RESPONSIBILITIES :

The Flight Line Assistant will report to the Fleet Supervisor.  The position will work typically Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.  

Primary Responsibilities:

- Marshal, park and secure aircraft.
- Tow and start aircraft, assist with pilot strap in (as required).
- Refueling and defueling of A/C;
- Operate light special purpose vehicles;
- Wash aircraft, cleaning canopies;
- Hangar 5S (garbage removal, cleaning floors, putting away tool boards, etc.);
- Assisting Aircraft Technicians as required.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS :
Education and Experience

- Proof of registration in a post-secondary educational institution for the fall of 2021.
- Previous flight line experience considered an asset.

Other Required Training or Skills

- Must have a valid drivers licence.
- Minimum age of seventeen (17)

Candidate must successfully pass a security evaluation per the requirements of the Controlled Goods Directorate of Canada and to CAE being able to obtain all necessary re-transfer authorization in compliance with US ITAR regulations
