Summer Student JobUnder the supervision of the Logistics Team Leads, the temporary incumbent is to assist in both the shipping and receiving departments as well as the warehouse. This position will work primarily Monday to Friday for 40 hours per week.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Warehouse (50%)
- 4 daily part runs to the on site forward stores.
- Pick-up and deliver mail once a day.
- counting of inventory.
- mail/courier training and work.
- Help with weekly 5S inspections.
Shipping Receiving (50%)
- Receiving all non-dangerous goods for CAE in Moose Jaw
- Filing of invoices and delivery receipts
- inspections of all vehicles for logistics, gas, cleaning
- Assist in the performance of other stores functions when required
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Education
Minimum of Grade 12 Diploma returning to full time studies in the fall. Preference will be given to an individual in a related field.
Qualifications:
Experience working with Microsoft Office programs
Experience with SAP an asset
Student in a logistics or auto parts warehousing program preferred
Other required training or skills
Must have a valid drivers license.
Must be able to lift 40 lbs.
