Facility: ST JOSEPHS HOSPITAL ESTEVAN
Job Description: The Registered Nurse (RN) is accountable for promoting high quality care through assessing, planning, implementing, documenting and evaluating the total care needs of our patients/residents/clients (P/R/Cs). The RN is required to coordinate with all the departments within the facility, families and professionals associated with P/R/Cs care. The RN must promote effective communication in the facility through care given and reporting mechanisms. The RN is expected to participate in staff meetings and educational opportunities to maintain their own professional competence.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor Degree in Nursing
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or required to obtain within 6 months of employment
Canadian Triage and Acuity Scale (CTAS)
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Ability to accept and implement change
Ability to conduct assessments, prioritize client needs, and develop treatment plans to meet needs regarding treatment with a client and family-centered approach to care
Ability and flexibility in adapting to changing situations and environments.

Standby hours are required


Scheduled hours of work may be reduced during the rotation stipulated when a statutory or designated holiday is recognized during that period.  
The successful candidate is responsible to obtain and provide an original Criminal Record Check (CRC) & Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC) from their local police service, RCMP or previous country/countries of residence that is dated within the past six (6) months that is satisfactory to the Saskatchewan Health Authority. Internal candidates may be required to provide a CRC
