The successful candidate will co-facilitate an employment/life skills program for adults with multiple barriers to employment. The facilitator is responsible for assessing participants suitability for the program, selecting and delivering appropriate program materials scheduling activities and networking with other community resources. They will assist participants in developing individualized goal plans and provide support and counselling to assist participants in addressing barriers to success. The successful incumbent is responsible for identifying and organizing volunteer opportunities in the community for program participants. The incumbent is also responsible for maintaining confidential participant records and preparing reports on attendance, activities and progress.
The incumbent must have at least 3 years experience facilitating employment/life skills programming for individuals with complex issues and multiple barriers to participating in the work force. A Driver's License is required.
