ESSENTIAL FUNCTION:
Identify, document and respond to physical, emotional and behavioral indicators of abuse, neglect and emotional injury
Perform Structured Decision Making Risk assessments (SDM) at all required points in the life of a case file
Assess strengths and needs of children and families in consultation with the family
Engage children and families in the ongoing assessment and case planning process
Conduct face to face interviews with children and families to gather information
Ensure goals and tasks are specific, measurable, attainable, realistic, time limited and clearly understood by everyone involved in the case planning process
Ensure the development of a safety plan and required supports are identified within the plan
Ensure all legal and procedural requirements are completed for court purposes in a timely manner
Attend court to give testimony to case facts
Participate in the on call schedule for after hour services on a rotational basis
