Description

In an ongoing effort to support our client, a well-known construction company with deep roots in Regina, SK, we are looking to hire seasonal, heavy-duty mechanics.

If you have a passion to work safely, have experience maintaining and repairing large equipment, but not limited to, loaders, dozers, graders, compactors, water trucks, oil trucks and skid steers, and want to be part of a fast-paced and productive team, this is the opportunity for you

The Role:
Repair and adjust hydraulic pumps, safety valves and any other mechanical components necessary including electrical and hydraulic troubleshooting
Operate automotive servicing and diagnostic equipment while keeping current with the changing technology and repair techniques
Install and align engines and machinery, repair cooling and lubrication systems, and mechanical transmissions and differentials while keeping detailed documentation of all work completed
Drive service truck to various locations to perform inspections, maintenance and repairs on site
Adhere to all workplace safety policies, regulations and compliances

The Ideal Candidate:
3  5 years experience maintaining and repairing equipment with a preference to Journeyman status (or minimum 3rd-year apprentice)
Valid drivers license with a clean drivers abstract
Strong work ethic with a focus on health and safety, integrity, reliability, and team-player
Flexible schedule as overtime may be required
Physically able to work in a high paced environment and willing to perform other duties to complete a job
CSA approved steel-toe boots are required
