Permanent Part - Time (approximately 28 hours bi-weekly)
* Varied shifts that include evenings, Saturdays and Sundays
Shifts include working in the Medstead Advice Centre, in our Digital Advice Centre and Advice Centres up to 200km radius
THE POSITION:Reporting to the Member Advisor Manager, this position provides financial transaction services to members and potential members with courtesy, accuracy and speed whether it is digitally or face to face.As a member advisor, this role provides knowledgeable and timely response to inquiries and provides assistance in utilizing our products and services in a way that best meet the members needs, all while utilizing and promoting our omni channels and educating members on the benefits of self-service. They recognize opportunities to promote, cross-sell and refer additional credit union products and services that will best help members meet/exceed their needs.
Responsibilitiesinclude:
Utilizing on-line terminals process member transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, loan and utility payments, money orders, credit card advances, calculation of foreign and domestic exchange, telephone transfers, cheque cashing, electronic funds transfers, and automated cash machines
Process member transactions such as opening new memberships and new accounts, safety deposit box entry, rental & administration; night deposit, term deposits and RRSPs
Analyze members needs and assist members to utilize the products and services which best meet their needs
Foster business development through service excellence and product knowledge
