The Regina Rugby Clubhouse is currently looking for several full and part time bartenders to join our team for the May to October season with opportunities for scheduled events from October to April.
Bartender Duties and Responsibilities
Verify identification and age requirements of customers
Process payment from customers
Maintain cleanliness standards including nightly check lists and duty assignment
Record and balance nightly cash out
Build a rapport with customers to create a positive atmosphere
Ensure clubhouse and liquor license requirements are met through following appropriate procedure and expectations
Other duties to support Clubhouse functioning as they arise.
Bartender skills and qualifications
Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations
Impeccable customer service and social perceptiveness
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to enforce clubhouse policy regarding consumption of alcohol
Physical ability to stand and walk for long periods, move kegs with assistance, lift up to 40 lbs.
Accountability in maintaining inventory and processing payments
Serve it Right certificate or willingness to complete the brief course
Understanding of Covid-19 protocols and willingness to follow outlined safety precautions
Willingness to work both inside and outdoor stations
Hours and Availability Expectations
Hours:
o Weekday Evenings 5:00 to close (11:00 PM)
o Weekend Days 11:00 AM to 6:00PM
o Weekend Evenings 3:00 PM to Close 8:00 PM to 12:00 PM depending on event)
o Special events as scheduled
Availability Expectations
o Must be able to work at minimum 2-3 scheduled shifts per week for part time positions.
o Must be available to work 4-5 scheduled shifts for full time.
o Must be available for 2 to 3 training dates in April
o Must be available April 30 or April 31 for a training shift
o Must be available May to October with several opportunities for events over the winter months
