Description

We are proud to offer an exciting career opportunity in our well known and well recognized Intensive Family Support Program at CFS Regina.

This program works with families experiencing addiction, mental health needs, familial and domestic violence, food/housing insecurity and many other intensive levels of need. Our end goal is to help mitigate crisis, stabilize family units and promote family wellness in order to promote family preservation, family cohesion and family reunification.

We are a home visiting program that works directly in the community with clients that are referred to this program. You would be responsible for overseeing a staff of Support Workers and case managing families assigned to their caseload.

We work directly with the Ministry of Social Services as a main partner in this program. Therefore, it is expected that you will have knowledge of the child protection system, understanding of child welfare and a strong foundation of "duty to report" expectations.

Strong leadership is necessary.

A Bachelor of Social Work or a social services degree with applicable and extensive experience will be considered.

As Manager of this program, you will be directly responsible for:
-Providing ongoing case supervision, coaching/mentoring and performance evaluation for in-home support staff.
-Intake duties & management of waitlist, as well as assignment and evaluation of staff caseloads.
-Day to day support, problem solving, and ensuring quality & consistency of program delivery.
-Liaising with front line staff and supervisors at the Ministry of Social Services.
-Responsible for monthly reporting requirements & administration

*A license and access to dependable transportation is required.
