Athol Murray College of Notre Dame has an excellent opportunity in our Central Services Office (CSO) and Facilities team. The CSO Administrative Assistant is the first point of contact for all clients, vendors, and guests of the College. This individual is responsible for coordinating, performing administrative duties and providing office support to the maintenance department and the Facilities Manager.
Hours of work: 3-5 days per week, 7-Month Contract position
Main Job Functions:
Preparing invoices & billing for the department
Establishing and following up on work orders
Creating purchase orders for the department
Maintaining and monitoring inventory levels
Maintaining records for the department
Assisting the Facilities manager on Special projects & other duties as assigned
Essential skills:
1. Data Entry & Spreadsheet skills
2. Work order and Inventory system skills or the ability to quickly learn new systems
3. Monitor, file, and report on the status of ongoing department projects
4. Administrative office experience with attention to detail
5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
6. Time management & Prioritization
7. Accountability, Judgement & Decision Making
Requirements:
We are looking for candidates who have completed a Grade 12 diploma or have obtained their GED. Preference will be given to individuals who have related education and experience. Candidates must have a clean Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector and display a commitment to Notre Dames Catholic nature, philosophy, principles, vision and mission.
