Description

The purposes of municipalities are the following:

(b) to provide services, facilities and other things that, in the opinion of council, are necessary and desirable for all or a part of the municipality;
(c) to develop and maintain a safe and viable community;
(d) to foster economic, social and environmental well-being;
(e) to provide wise stewardship of public assets.

GRADER OPERATOR  (Full time, Seasonal position)
Requirements:
Trained and certified as a Grader Operator (Required)
5 years experience (Preferred), of which in a Municipality (Asset)
Trained and certified to operate other heavy equipment (Asset)
Other certificates/licenses/registration:
SK class 5 (minimum); WHMIS; Powered Mobile Equipment Certification (PME); Ground Disturbance; Fall arrest; WorkSafe; TDG; First Aid level A; Lockout/Tagout; Fire Safety; GED Gr. 12 (preferred)
Start date: ASAP
Salary as per the IUOE pay scale.
