Job Summary
Reporting to the Mill Manager, the Assistant Manager supports the overall management, production and operation of the Rama Feed Mill.  
General Responsibilities
Receiving, scheduling, production and management of 100,000+ tonnes of pelleted and mash feed per year
Ensuring feed and ingredient quality standards are met and exceeded
Ensuring HACCP certifications are maintained and quality control programs are followed
Assist with Inventory Management
Assist mill maintenance programs
Participating safety initiatives
Other duties as assigned

Education/Experience Required
Excellent organizational skills
Feed mill experience is asset
Commitment to quality and attention to detail
Good computer skills (especially with Excel)
Experience with mill batching systems
A good understanding of feed ingredients, swine diets and feed quality parameters
Valid class 5 drivers license
