The East Central Alberta Regional Innovation Network (ECARIN) exists due to a partnership between Startup Lloydminster and Alberta Innovates. ECARIN envisions a vibrant, innovative, and diverse business environment that creates jobs, increases revenues, and grows opportunities for regional business to export to the global market. ECARIN exists to support innovative, technology and knowledge based Small and Medium Entrepreneurs (SMEs) located in East Central Alberta. ECARIN ensures that regional innovative entrepreneurs receive access to high quality supports and services and encourage them to accelerate and diversify their ventures to encourage innovation-based economic development.

As the RIN coordinator, you will be the main point of contact at Startup Lloydminster for ECARIN clients and partners. Duties include fostering the development and growth of the RIN. You will connect with clients, collaborate with partners and coordinate activities to provide and enhance supports available in our region. The RIN coordinator is also responsible for promotion of ECARIN and initiatives. You will work to identify gaps in the ecosystem and develop a strategy to fill these gaps. The RIN Coordinator will be responsible for reporting metrics to our funders and ensuring these metrics are being met.
