Description

Central Urban Metis Federation Inc. for years has been providing 24/7 on a part-time, temporary or full-time basis and is committed to fostering a compassionate and nurturing environment for our clients and their families.
The Scheduler is accountable for the scheduling of Support Workers and a variety of other administrative duties as assigned.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Wheniwork App
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and communication skills
Ability to plan, organize, prioritize and accurately follow through in work activities with time constraints and interruptions to meet deadlines, as well as work independently with a minimum amount of direction and/or supervision.
Must possess patience and the ability to relate tactfully and professionally with all nursing staff members
Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action and to remain calm during emergencies.
Scheduling experience in a Supported Living setting is preferred
Job Responsibilities Include, but are not limited to:
Successfully coordinate Supported living homes schedules daily to ensure reliable service.
Provide regular updates to the direct supervisor on any open shifts after an exhaustive effort has been made to staff the shifts.
Provide timely reporting to direct supervisor on the staffing requirements
Work with Human Resources to identify staffing needs
Penchant for technology
Generate reports
Update employee files
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality in all areas of responsibility
This position is Casual/Part-Time
