We are looking for an analytical, strategic and customer focused leader who will be responsible for creating and driving innovative corporate claims strategies, anchored in customer experience, and aligned to SGI's vision and values. In this role you will identify and oversee implementation of governance, process, standards, reporting and monitoring across all SGI CANADA and Auto Fund claims functions.  You will lead a team to research, define and implement best practices and continuous improvement to support corporate priorities of operational excellence and sustainable growth while maintaining a national focus in the process design, monitoring and governance of claims handling ensuring an integrated view with operations, product management and Corporate Underwriting.

Requirements

Candidates must bring the education and experience to succeed in this unique opportunity. We are looking for candidates who have a four-year degree from an accredited post-secondary education institution in Business, Mathematics & Applied Science or Social Sciences, a Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation or Fellow Chartered Insurance Professional (FCIP) and twelve years of experience comprised of 8 years of leadership with progressively challenging responsibility and 4 years experience in a technical insurance role. Alternative combinations of relevant education and experience may also be considered.
