Required Qualifications

Health Information Management diploma
Registration with Canadian Health Information Management Association (CHIMA)
Certification with Canadian College of Health Information Management (CCHIM)
Experience
Previous: No previous experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Valid drivers license, where required by the job

Home Base for this position is Weyburn General Hospital Health Information Services Dept.  This position is Regional and may be required to travel to the HIS Dept at Weyburn Mental Health Centre or other HIS Depts within the former Sun Country Health Region as required.  

If no qualified applicant is found, the successful applicant must obtain Registration with the Canadian Health Information Management Association (CHIMA) within 6 months of start date.


Scheduled hours of work may be reduced during the rotation stipulated when a statutory or designated holiday is recognized during that period.  
The successful candidate is responsible to obtain and provide an original Criminal Record Check (CRC) & Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC) from their local police service, RCMP or previous country/countries of residence that is dated within the past six (6
