Battlefords Residential Services Inc. is a non-profit, community-based organization providing residential, day program and support services for individuals with intellectual disabilities through the operation of 6 group homes for 35 individuals, a supported living program for up to 15 individuals, and a day program for 12 individuals.

Battlefords Residential Services Inc. is currently searching for an Executive Director to lead the organization.

The Executive Director is appointed by and responsible to the Board for the operation of Battlefords Residential Services Inc. He/she is responsible for the successful leadership, management, and implementation of the strategic goals and objectives of the organization, and to ensure that Board directives are implemented.  

The Executive Director holds primary responsibility for the financial management of the organization, staff, and operations of all programs, as well as ensuring proper administration of the policies, legislation, and the collective agreement. He/she must also be thoroughly familiar with the policies, standards, and guidelines by which the programs are operated. The Executive Director is also responsible to ensure the Residents care guidelines are followed.

The successful candidate will possess a University Degree or relevant post-secondary education, excellent written and oral communication skills, with proven fiscal management abilities. Experience at a senior management level, working with nonprofit organizations, a volunteer Board of Directors, and familiarity and desire to work with people with intellectual disabilities are essential.
