Description

The Manager of Injury Claims is responsible for managing a team of SGI employees that is responsible for injury case management. In this role, you will provide direction on complex claims and ensure claims are investigated and settled in accordance with applicable insurance legislation, programs, policies, procedures and customer service targets.

Requirements

We are looking for candidates who have a four-year degree from an accredited post-secondary education institution in a relevant field of study such as Health, Social Sciences or Business and a Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation. Candidates should also have at least Eight years' experience comprised of four years progressively challenging leadership and four years' experience in a field related to injury or disability claims management. Alternative combinations of relevant education and experience may also be considered.
