Description

White Raven Healing Centre (WRHC) is located in Treaty Four Territory. WRHC provides holistic, integrated approach to an affiliate organization of the Touchwood Agency and the File Hills QuAppelle Tribal Council that serves 15 First Nations in Southern Saskatchewan and within the Treaty Four Territory.

Reporting directly to the WRHC Executive Director, the Youth Leadership Coordinator will work in close consultation with all WRHC staff to ensure that standards and quality services are maintained. This position is based at the All Nations Healing Hospital located in Fort QuAppelle, SK.

Qualifications:
    Post secondary education in a health-related field such as Social Work, Psychology, Education, Substance Use Counselling
    Experience working in a health care/mental health setting.

Competencies:
    Knowledge of First Nations values, culture, traditions, and governance
    Experience working with First Nation individual, families and communities
    Trauma Informed Care;
    Culturally Responsive skills and abilities as well as knowledgeable about Natural Laws
    Punctual and dependable with an ability to lead as well as work independently;
    Excellent interpersonal, communication, administrative and organizational capabilities;
    Developing, coordinating and facilitating programming, training and workshops
    Engagement of youth to strengthen, guide and empower a greater responsibility for the health, mental wellness and well-being through increasing knowledge, skills and potential;
    Ability to engage and connect with the ever changing and adapting culture of youth;
    Experience in proposal writing, program planning, implementation, evaluation and reporting;
    Experience in community development and facilitating;
    Must possess a valid drivers license and own vehicle.
