INNOVATION PLACE is recruiting for an Executive Director, Technical Operations to provide strategic leadership in the management and maintenance of our diverse portfolio of assets.

You will oversee operations of a cross-functional department whose core business activities include building maintenance, asset management, commissioning, and environmental sustainability.  You will also be responsible for the development and implementation of a comprehensive maintenance program that will maximize the useful life of assets through preventative, reactive and predictive maintenance strategies.

You are confident aligning stakeholders and resources to achieve departmental and corporate objectives. You provide strong leadership that focuses on promoting a constructive culture and building a safety-focused workplace.

- experience working in a strategic maintenance position, preferably in a campus or plant environment
- in-depth knowledge of building operations and systems
- exceptional leadership capabilities with a focus on empowering employees to achieve a shared vision
- experience building and embedding a safety-focused culture
- high competency in building strong relationships and fostering collaboration / teamwork across departments and divisions
- ability to see the big picture; long-term strategic thinker who plans for success
