Description

A1 Rent-Alls is Regina and surrounding areas premiere rental company offering a one stop shop for all customer rental needs. Our goal is to build a strong team of likeminded talented individuals and provide a service experience surpassed by none. We are currently looking for a Heavy-Duty Mechanic able to perform mechanical repairs and maintenance covering the continuously growing A1 fleet.

The Heavy-Duty Mechanic will determine the nature and extent of repairs, clearly document job details, diagnose and order parts if required and communicate job details in a professional manor with customers. Work will be required both in shop and on site. Tools are required for the position. Service truck TBD. Travel in and beyond the city limits and rotational shift work required to cover weekend shift.

Job Duties
Provide service, maintenance and repair for all A1 & Customer equipment at shop and on job sites
Inspect, repair and adjust battery, gasoline and diesel powered units
Keep detailed and accurate maintenance documentations
Maintain a working knowledge of changes in technology and repair techniques
Other mechanical repair work as required.

Requirements
Completion of college/vocational or technical training preferred.
Appropriate credentials and certifications.
Experience as a Heavy Duty Mechanic preferred, consideration will be given to apprentice candidates that qualify.
Possess a valid driver's license. 1A license considered an asset.
Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.

Work Conditions
24/7 availability may be required
Physical ability to lift up to 50lb.
Travel to off-site locations is required.
Safety equipment is required ae steel-toed boots, safety glasses, high vis vest etc.
