Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform all duties in the paint process such as surface preparation and spray-gun application of liquid coatings
Reading job order sheets to understand the specific requirements of each job
Make adjustments to equipment to ensure accurate mill thickness as shown on the shop drawings
Proficient with applying paint products and operating paint equipment
Paint beams, tubes, angle, channel, bar grating, pipe, plate, and large to small weldments according to the shop drawings
Ensure all paint materials are being used in compliance with customer specifications and quality control program
Understand specific requirements for paint application, storage, and disposal
Proficient at testing and measuring applied paint products
Assist in loading materials when necessary
Maintain inventory of required paint supplies and consumables
Operating a forklift, jib cranes, and overhead cranes in order to move materials
Perform any other duties assigned by management
Ensure quality standards and processes are used throughout the facility
Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
