For over 30 years The Riversdale Business Improvement District (RBID) has acted as the voice of the Business Community, working to revitalize the area and reimagine its future. Currently, RBID is seeking a Maintenance Labourer to assist in supporting the efforts of local Business Owners within the district.

General Duties Include:

    Enjoy work, predominantly outdoors
    Perform regular maintenance and improvements through the district
    Create a clean and professional presentation of RBIDs office location
    Keep sidewalks clear through each season regardless of weather
    Ensure litter collection procedures are completed
    Occasionally assist with event set up
    Report, photograph, and clean graffiti and vandalism
    Support and assist with flowerbed maintenance and upkeep

Qualified applicants will require:

    Valid class 5 driver's license and clean abstract
    Clean criminal record check
    Physical ability and stamina to maintain pace of activity throughout your shift
    Interest and experience in working with small powered equipment like; backpack blower, powered sidewalk sweeper, whipper snipper, and other provided equipment to perform regular and efficient maintenance

This is a great opportunity for someone who may wish to supplement their current income. Initially, duties will be performed each weekday morning from 9am - 12:30pm.
