As the Marketing Account Manager, New Product Development, you will evaluate the potential to expand products and services currently utilized by SaskWater including; AMI and the intelligence gathered through data collected, leak detection, air and water drone services, metering and billing. You will undertake research to understand market opportunities and challenges, industry best practices, new technologies and existing operating practices to formulate new products and services. You will use data and trends to help quantify and qualify new opportunities. You will collaborate with Customer Growth and Engagement, Finance, Engineering and Operations to ensure products contribute to company operations and achieve corporate goals. Working in a multi-functional team environment, you will develop business cases and implement marketing plans and strategies to position new products and services to grow new market segments. The job requires a clear understanding of the industry and its challenges.
To qualify, you will have a degree in Business Administration or Commerce, specializing in Marketing or similar discipline and a valid Class 5 drivers license. You will have
6 to 9 years of progressively more responsible experience in new product development and product analysis and marketing and sales strategies. You have the ability to work under pressure, adapt to change and the ability to balance customer needs against corporate vision and strategy.
Special Requirements: The position requires the incumbent to undergo a Criminal Record Check and Drug and Alcohol test. A valid Saskatchewan drivers license is required. You must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
