Description: The Filing Clerk will be responsible for assisting the City Clerk with sorting, digitizing and disposing of old physical municipal records as a term project over the summer.
Qualifications: The preferred applicant will be someone who is familiar working with computers and is able to work independently. They will need to be able to sort and identify different record types to determine which need to be kept for permanent retention and which can be destroyed.
Additional training will be provided as needed.
Hours:
Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Full time hours for this position are 35 hours per week.
This will be a term position for 16 weeks (estimated as May through August)
