Description

The Water Security Agency (WSA) is seeking a Project Lands Manager to join our Irrigation Development team. Reporting to the Executive Director, Irrigation Development, you will manage a plan, co-ordinate, evaluate and administer land management for WSA with respect to designated projects, including the Westside Irrigation Project. This would involve land acquisition and disposal, program and financial management, client and contract management in relation to WSA rights-of-way, land leases, WSA stockpile sites, plus other land holdings.
The Project Lands Manager will provide input into the maintenance of land management information systems and databases to ensure legal and other WSA reporting and documentation processes are maintained. You will also be engaging and presenting to local area planning councils, local interest groups or other interested parties.

As the successful candidate, you will have a Degree in Business, Law, Engineering, or related degree along with experience in land management. Having a comprehensive knowledge of Provincial statutes, Torrens Land Registration System, Land Surveys System and related federal, provincial and municipal legislation and regulations concerning property rights and registration would be preferred, combined with 6-9 years work experience, with direct experience in land management.
