As the Project Engineer, Engineering Support & Research, you will provide specialized professional engineering advice and support to a broad range of activities. You will be responsible for moderately complex to complex engineering projects that are often carried out simultaneously especially in peak season periods.
To qualify you will have Degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering or a similar engineering discipline, a P.Eng. designation (license to practice professional engineering from the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Saskatchewan APEGS), and four years of progressively responsible related experience including design and cost estimating; construction supervision; tendering, Request for Proposals, agreement and contract administration; preparation and revision of specifications, special provisions and terms of reference; research and development; and Project Management.
Where the minimum educational requirement is not met, an equivalent combination of training, knowledge and experience will be considered. Engineers-In-Training are welcome to apply.
Special Requirements: The position requires the incumbent to undergo a Criminal Record Check and drug and alcohol test. You must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
A valid Saskatchewan drivers license is required.
