The Manager of Support Services is a key leader in health care, partnering with system leaders to achieve JRI and provincial healthcare goals. The role reports to the Vice-President, Corporate Services and is accountable for the support services departments (Dietary, Laundry and Housekeeping) at Porteous Lodge and at Stensrud Lodge. Porteous Lodge is a 56,531 sq ft building and Stensrud Lodge is a 43,930 sq. ft. building. This position manages and supervises staff to provide residents with an optimal quality of life and a homelike environment. This includes responsibility for the overall operations of services on a 24 hour basis in conjunction with the Leadership Team. Education:
Diploma in Management/ Nutrition/ Health Care/ Hospitality
Experience:
Experience, at an operational level, as a leader who has developed and led innovative planning and programs in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment
3 5 years experience in a supervisory or management position, ideally in a unionized setting.
Excellent time-management, organizational and communication skills.
Valid Class 5 Drivers license as travel within the province of Saskatchewan is required
Experience related to program development and/or health care with gerontology as an asset.
