Reporting to the Indigenous HR Strategy Manager, the HR Business Partner works directly with our strategy investors to enhance their current HR, diversity and talent acquisition strategies to effectively recruit and retain Indigenous Talent.  This position is accountable to develop, implement and maintain a variety of initiatives to fulfill the requirements of our Indigenous HR Strategy commitments.

As an HR Business Partner, you will maintain industry and community knowledge to effectively market our investors, bring awareness to in-demand careers and recruit qualified candidates.  

Qualifications:

1. Post-secondary degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or a related field.
2. Minimum of three (3) years of related experience priming relationships with clients and stakeholders to meet their business needs.
3. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and build good working relationships with all levels of the organization.
4. Excellent written skills with the ability to gather, analyze, develop and present recommendations to key stakeholders.
5. Strong verbal communication and presentation skills with the ability to adapt to a variety of audiences.
6. Demonstrated ability to multi-task a large amount of initiatives and activities with multiple clients.
7. Knowledge of employment standards and human rights legislation.
8. Must be proficient and experienced using computer applications such as Microsoft Office, databases and social media programs.
