2 Meat Cutters required by Stevenot Quality Cuts

Positions available immediately.

Stevenot Quality Cuts is a family-owned operation providing slaughtering and meat processing services to the Meadow Lake area since 2008. Specializing in custom cutting & wrapping of domestic and wild game.

We offer:
Full-time, year-round, permanent job including some Saturdays in the Meadow Lake, SK area by Rapid View.
$19/h to start. Extended medical benefits available after 6 months of probation.

Requirements:
Prior experience is an asset. No specific education required.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Cuts, trims, skins, sorts meat after slaughtering
- Skins sections of animals or whole animals
- Uses meat bandsaw
- Removes bones
- Scraping bone dust
- Cuts meat to customers specifications
- Cutting wild meat (moose, elk, deer)
- Portioning of steaks
- Grinding meat for hamburgers
- Sausage making
- Jerky making
- Smoking meat
- Packaging meat (vacuum packing and brown wrapping)
- Cleaning the workspace
- Assist with slaughtering of animals (beef, pork, sheep) (optional)
