Take reservations and make changes to existing reservations, as required, in a timely fashion
Review daily arrivals to ensure proper handling of all individual and group guests; block rooms for arrivals and ensures any discrepancies are resolved
Establish billing requirements as noted in the PMS, or by direction of Guest Experience Manager and/or Sales Department
Register arriving guests in an efficient and thoughtful manner, using guests names. Assure that guests are assigned the type of room they were confirmed, at the correct rate. Issue keys, arrange luggage service and take personal ownership that specific details of their stay as per profile history have been arranged and double checked
Ensure thorough communication and follow up on any problems, guest requests, or special requirements
Handle confidential situations in a professional manner
Knowledge of available inventory and confidence to strategically up-sell
Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies/service procedures/standards
Follow your instinct and use your best judgment to create experiences for guests that are thoughtful and authentic
Provide undivided attention to each guest
Take action in all matters related to the safety, security, satisfaction and well-being of hotel guests and employees; responds swiftly and effectively in any hotel emergency or safety situation
Liaison between hotel and car service to ensure all appointments are met and carried through for guest
Must be well versed in the menus of the hotel to ensure room service order taking and delivery is executed with consistency
Provides basic trouble shooting support for in room services such as Internet, TV movies, and web services
Monitors and responds to hotel fire control panel and emergency and safety situations in an efficient and professional manner
Assists with responsibilities and duties in other areas of the hotel, as may
