Description

Reporting to the Chief People Officer, this position will be responsible for coordination of all corporate communications, internal and external for STC. This will include being the liaison with different STC departments to develop media communications, key messages, internal and online campaigns, news releases, media backgrounders and the annual report. The position is multifaceted with responsibility for writing content, editing, designing media and coordinating media relations events. This can include the development of an internal and external communications to promote STCs programs, services to varying audiences such as staff, community member nations, general public and other stakeholders. The position will plan, write, create, schedule, update and manage social media, and digital communications over multiple platforms. The position will work in collaboration with STCs Treaty Office in the coordination of media/press releases and Q&A documents.  The position is responsible for maintaining STCs positive brand identity in social media marketing campaign or in media relations. The position will be responsible for promoting and protecting STCs branding and corporate image to leading innovative internal print and digital communications on various platforms. The position will work with staff, stakeholders and partnership relations. The position will develop creative, compelling, thoughtful and impactful content.  This is currently a standalone position with leadership opportunity for the supervision of summer student assistance and adhoc media event coordination when applicable.
