This position is accountable for a wide range of duties and responsibilities within our Chaplin office. Some of the duties that will be required are as follows;
- Records and posts receipts on a daily basis
- First contact for all incoming individuals to the office
- Answer all phones and screen as well as direct calls as required
- Main contact for employees regarding their health and dental plans
- Update health and dental plan costing in employee payroll system
- Emailing, scanning, photocopying of invoices as required
- Replying to customer statement requests in a timely manner
- Construction of the monthly financial report in conjunction with the Controller
- Required to cover vacation and sick leaves for the shipping clerk as well as the Assistant Accountant
- work with the Assistant Accountant on data entry, filing, and payroll coverage
- Process incoming and outgoing mail on a daily basis
- Produce our internal Glauber Gazette on a weekly basis
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Knowledge of office procedures
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task
- One year office administration certificate or equivalent combination of experience and education
- Accounting/payroll experience considered an asset
Wage will be dependent on education and experience
