Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Service Advisor. As a Service Advisor, you will be the primary point of contact for customers who require automotive repair and maintenance services. Your role will involve providing exceptional customer service, coordinating service appointments, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and provide a warm and friendly welcome
- Listen to customer concerns and accurately document their vehicle's issues
- Provide recommendations for necessary repairs and maintenance based on customer concerns and vehicle inspections
- Prepare accurate cost estimates for repairs and communicate them to customers
- Coordinate service appointments and ensure timely completion of repairs
- Maintain open communication with customers throughout the repair process, providing updates on progress and any additional recommendations
- Collaborate with mechanics and technicians to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of repairs
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Experience:
- Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in an automotive dealership or repair shop setting
- Mechanical knowledge to effectively communicate with mechanics and technicians
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Familiarity with automotive repair terminology and processes
