The Accounting Clerk supports the Accounting, Sales, Service, and Parts Departments for all Canada West Harvest Centre (CWHC) locations. The position is responsible for accurate and timely data entry and clerical support pertaining to the daily dealership operations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Responsible for accurate data entry for accounting functions such as, but not limited to, auditing and processing expenses, reconciliation and payment of invoices, collection and receiving of accounts, and preparation of bank deposits.
Supports GST, PST, and Tire Tax return process.
Manages accounting e-mail.
Supports equipment settlements and funding.
Supports account reconciliations.
Supports Capital process.
Supports expense re-imbursement process.
Sends out accurately monthly customer statements timely.
Posts all invoices.
Supports Warranty processing and reconciliations.
Records and inputs data into ASPEN as required.
Tracks all CWHC fleet vehicles on JPL in excel and the reconciliation of related fuel receipts.
Interacts with internal and external vendors as required.
Adheres to established company values, practices, policies and procedures at all times. Follows and supports compliance with all applicable safety rules, laws, regulations and standards.
Demonstrates regular and punctual attendance at the assigned work location.
