The Ministry of Agriculture, Lands Branch has an exciting and challenging opportunity for a self-motivated individual to join our team in our North Battleford office.
In this role, you will:
- Support land management specialists district management by completing a variety of tasks including lease renewal packages, assisting in preparation and renewal inspections including agricultural, oil and gas and sand and gravel leases;
- Participate in range health assessments and other fieldwork activities; and
- Participate in training activities including mandatory safety training.
Eligible applicants will have:
- An Agriculture degree or equivalent and will be eligible for membership as a professional agrologist with the Saskatchewan Institute of Agrologists;
- Graduated from a recognized University program within the last three years.

You will have the opportunity to work with a variety of agricultural Crown land users including agricultural producers, oil and gas companies, and recreational users.
You will be required to travel throughout Saskatchewan using a government vehicle to work remotely for extended periods of time outdoors.
