Top Gun Feeders Inc. is currently recruiting for individuals to fill the position of Pen Rider. We are located 9km south of Moose Jaw on Hwy 2.

Responsibilities:
Monitor animal health
Daily pen checks to detect disease and health problems
Pull sick cattle out of pen to treat and move to appropriate pens
Keep accurate records of all treatments
Process cattle - administer vaccines and medications, castration or banding of bulls, prolapsed cattle, lancing of growths, dehorning, deworming
Clean and sanitize of equipment
Feed and tend cattle as required
Assist with shipping cattle
Maintain regular bedding of pens
Assist with yard maintenance and repairing fences.  Assist with cleaning, maintenance and repair of feed bunks and water bowls
Assist with clean-up of yard, pens, roads, buildings, and fields
Operate and maintain farm machinery including farm truck, loader, tractor, skid steer
Other duties/projects as required

Requirements:
2 years experience handling cattle, pen-riding, processing and treating cattle required
Experience riding horses around cattle through pens and pastures
Able to perform manual physical labour
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Must be self-motivated and have a positive team player attitude
Adheres to company policies and procedures
Excellent communication skills and command of the English language
Must be legally entitled to work in Canada (citizen or PR)
